Well, I'm not sure if "sprucing up" is the right term for it... perhaps, "dressing down" is more like it.As any true bathroom connoisseur knows, visiting a lavatory is an experience in and of itself. A poorly lit or awkwardly designed bathroom can really spoil the sometimes the time and effort you spent getting there.
Oh, China... I think you understand this well. In Chongqing, a city in south-central China, the public restroom has been transformed into a unique experience. They offer outdoor urinals, for those preferring for a more natural environment, and even some with a Virgin Mary theme! And the sinks? Well, let's just say that the Chinese are giving little boys some new ideas for extracurricular activities.
